Am I forcing my kids to do too much?

I have a 9th grade daughter, 7th grade son and kindergartener. I work 4 days a week and struggle to keep up with everything. I’m married and my husband does help. My kids are busy. My daughter dances 3 nights a week and is in all honors classes. She also plays an instrument. My middle school son plays sports and my little one will do coach pitch this spring.

I just began asking my daughter to make her own lunch. I still make it Monday’s because she dances from 5:30–9. She buys pizza on Fri and I have asked her to make her lunch Tues, Wed and Thurs. My middle son buys everyday. He doesn’t want my lunches anymore lol. I make my youngest his lunch everyday.

I also ask them to get their own breakfast. I used to make eggs a few days a week and only my daughter would eat them. Now that I work I don’t do that. Now she doesn’t eat at all. I always have cereal, toast, yogurt, bagels etc but she never eats any of that. My middle son has never eaten breakfast and my youngest I get his and he eats it.

I ask my kids every week to help clean their bathroom and clean their bedroom. I ask my oldest two, for one of them to clean the toilet and clean their side of the mirror and their sink. There are 2 sinks. I ask the other one to vacuum the bathroom, take out the garbage and clean their side of their mirror and sink.
Sometimes but not always I…
